3C Communications and KubiWireless: Partners and pioneers of Wireless Internet Access in Spain.

Under the support of companies like Intel, HP and Cisco, wireless communications is gaining popularity, especially among the professionals that previously were sitting in the hotels and airports losing their valuable time.

Picasso Techotel - New Integration Partner launched for 3C.

The Scandinavian based software Company, AK Techotel have in close co-operation together with 3C developed a credit card interface to their PMS system, PICASSO.
The PICASSO system is a window based system, with different modules for the users, and it has been installed across Scandinavia. There are today more than 130 hotels in Scandinavia using Picasso.
The credit card interface will enable the PICASSO users to benefit from the experience that both 3C, through 3CIntegra H&R and Techotel have in handling credit cards via integrated systems. 3C's fast authorisation link, using TCP-IP to the acquiring banks across Europe will provide the users with the speed that is a necessity in the hospitality business as of today.
The AK Techotel portfolio includes since before the POS system, SMS, which 3C have a long history of integrating with. The launch of the PICASSO - 3C integration, enables AK Techotel to offer the users a complete credit card solution for their products. 3C Communications welcomes PICASSO into its portfolio.

The New Operations Structure of 3C Communications.

Within the expansion of 3C Communications through its wide pallet of products, Operations is becoming a relevant part of the business where more and more, the way to differentiate similar products on the same market is to offer an outstanding "after market" services.
In this respect, 3C Communications has reorganised its Operations teams dedicated to all products with most languages required. The new structure is as follows:

Luxembourg, 6 Operators - All services relevant .
Languages supported: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

Sweden, 3 Operators specifically dedicated to Scandinavian Market (except for 3CPayphones, handled in Luxembourg).
Languages supported: Swedish, Norwegian and Danish

United Kingdom, 2 Operators specifically dedicated for 3CIntegra Parking in UK:
Language supported: English.

In most of these countries all customers just have to dial a local telephones number, the call is then routed to the different Operations teams. Our Operations services are offered 24/7.
Next to come a new Operations Team based in Arizona in order to support our new customers based in the Far East.

euroConex credit card payment acquiring services part of the Bank of Ireland has now established a payment interface with 3C Communications. First seen as a tactical partner to process American Express in Ireland for the Westin Dublin Hotel, now through euroConex 3C can process all major credit cards and most importantly Laser debit cards in Ireland. This has allowed 3C to attack the Irish market with our new partners Aloha and HOTSOFT systems providing 3C Communications an initial foothold in a lucrative market.

New banking interface established with CartaSi, Italy.

For many years CartaSi has been a leader in the market of credit cards issued by banks. In 2002 the number of active credit cards has reached 7,5 milion, equal to a 37% of the total.
Today, CartaSi is the most widely used credit card in Italy (over 880 member banks) and is accepted all over the world, thanks to its connection with international networks such as Visa and MasterCard.
Based on such leadership position of the Italian Company, 3C Communications has recently established a payment interface with CartaSi which will enable 3C to break into the Italian market with a greater impact.
In fact the large number of institutions present within the network will lead to many advantages and contacts with just a single agreement.
Actually through CartaSi, you can carry out transactions not only with the above mentioned MasterCard and Visa, but also with other cards such as JCB and, starting from September 2003, also with American Express.
This latest agreement will enable 3C to process in Italy about 80% of the total transactions and to become the protagonist within the market of integrated payments.

Expansion of Payphones in new lounges.

Lufthansa Munich (Germany)
3C Communications has installed credit card payphones in the new Lufthansa Lounges at the airport of Munich (Terminal 2), which opened in July 2003.
3C will still be the only telephony supplier at their lounges in Germany and Switzerland and can provide a closed "telephony network" in these two Lufthansa countries.


Düsseldorf Airport (Germany)
On 1st of May 2003, the terminal C of the new airport Düsseldorf International has opened. Already present at terminal A and B, 3C Communications has installed its credit card payphones in this part of the airport.
